Dodge notes this is still a pre-production vehicle. But considering we’re likely months away from seeing the production version, this probably isn’t too far away from the next-generation Charger sheetmetal.
More importantly, Dodge confirms this will be available before the end of 2024.
Suspiciously, the folks at Dodge did not show the rear of this pre-production Charger. Now, that could just be because the nose of the upcoming Charger looks cool, but these front-centric photos could also be Dodge's way of hiding a set of exhaust pipes.
While we know for certain there will be a battery-electric version of the upcoming Charger, there is a lot of speculation that the next Charger will also see a 3.0-liter Hurricane inline six-cylinder under the hood. We also know the next-generation car will not see the Hemi V8.
All of these questions will likely be answered later in 2024. Hopefully, for Charger fans, the price doesn’t move too far away from the $36,920 sticker of the final base-model Chargers, but we won’t know for sure until the production model makes it to dealer lots.
