Smoke rises from an oil refinery following a Ukrainian drone attack in the course of Russia-Ukraine

Overnight,Ukraine unleashed its biggest attack on the Russian capital so far – caused significant damage across the city as air defences struggled to repel drones.
State media claimed Russia had shot down 992 drones,four long-range cruise missiles and 10 aerial bombs in 24 hours.
Despite this,Moscow Oil Refinery was repeatedly hit with explosives.
Locals are complaining about ‘oil rain’ falling and damaging their cars after ‘apocalyptic’ scenes of devastation in the Russian capital.
In addition,a massive fire broke out at the Sadovod Market in Moscow following a drone attack. Footage from the scene shows large plumes of smoke rising above the market buildings.

Russians are seen evacuating the area in fear. One is seen firing a pistol at a drone which explodes shortly after.
At Sheremetyevo Airport,located north of Moscow,passengers and airport staff were evacuated from the terminals and from aircraft due to the threat of an attack.
People were taken to shelters,including underground parking garages with flights cancelled.
Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov warned that Putin would make revenge attacks for the strikes on Moscow.
‘I’ve long been convinced that words are insufficient,’ he said.
‘After yet another Kyiv terrorist attack…..we will now conduct massive group strikes on a regular basis against targets whose condition directly affects Ukraine’s combat readiness.
‘This is the task set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief [Putin].’
