At least five killed after Amazon cargo plane in fireball crash at Miami airport

Casualties have been reported after an Amazon Boeing 767 jet smashed into a road just outside Miami International Airport.

Firefighters report that the cargo plane struck several vehicles after veering off the runway.

At least five people died and five were injured,mayor Daniella Levine confirmed.

Footage showed the huge cargo plane blocking traffic while huge plumes of black smoke billowed up from the wreckage on Sunday.

Mayor Levine described it as a ‘very difficult day’. She told reporters: ‘We can confirm that we have at least five deceased individuals.
