Mercedes-Benz will enter into production with some of the innovative ideas presented on the latest models of the company. According to British journalists, Mercedes E-Class Superlight will hit the road in 2015. The focus of this model, as the name suggests, is its very low weight , lower than the current E-Class with 350 kg! Such a weight reduction will be possible through the adoption of the carbon structure, which has the advantage of increased rigidity. The E-Class engines inspired by the F125 concept will be a hybrid, but not as we expected. First it will be a 50 hp electric motor which will be coupled with a fuel cell driven engine, powered by hydrogen, which will deliver 151 hp. Sales level is expected to be at 20.000 units, but the price may be too high even for this range of cars.
