This Audi R8 GTR prepared as a police car, is part of the campaign “Tune It! Safe!” which takes place every year in the biggest European auto tuning salon, Essen Motorshow. The present R8 GTR is equipped with various equipments from the best-known tuning brands: the warning lights have been designed by Hella and the police-style stickers on the car come from Foliatec. The power of this Audi R8 V10 GTR was increased by 95 hp reaching now 620 hp! So Audi R8 GTR “Police Car” by ABT goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and to 200 km/h in just 9.9 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is now 325 km/h. This car is just a tuning exercise and will not go as a law enforcement equipment from Germany, although the tuner slogan says: “Tuning should be fun, but can be very safe.”
